Kurt Hubbard

Kurt Hubbard is currently the Dean of Medical and Allied Health Programs at Remington College. He is also the founding Chair of the Occupational Therapy Program at Remington College, where he created the first online/hybrid model in OTA education. In addition, he is an Adjunct Professor in a variety of health related programs and is the President of Rehabilitation Expertise Inc., providing expert review of Health Science services in hospital litigation. Previously, Dr. Hubbard has directed and owned many hospital and community-based businesses with a focus on helping clients to achieve optimal functioning in occupational therapy and in mental health. Dr. Hubbard has been active locally in the Florida Occupational Therapy Association (FOTA), where he is currently the Education Special Interest Chair as well as editor for the FOTA quarterly periodical. In the past, he has been a Special Interest Chair in a variety of practice areas and served as FOTA President. In addition, he has been active internationally as well as nationally in the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), serving on many committees. He continues to emphasize scholarship and frequently shares his research at a variety of local, national, and international conferences as well as in peer reviewed periodicals.
