Linda Struckmeyer, PhD, OTR/L is an associate professor and Doctoral Capstone Coordinator (DCC) at the University of Florida. Prior to serving as DCC I was an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for six years. My educational degrees are all in Occupational Therapy. I have 30 years of clinical experience in many areas of OT including home health, mental health, in patient rehab, skilled nursing facilities and school-based practice. I have specialized training in School Based Practice (2004) and as an Assistive Technology Practitioner (2003-2013).

I have a passion for Aging in Place research and all things related to the Doctoral Capstone. I am a member of WFOT, AOTA (Secretary Board of Directors 2022-25), Florida Occupational Therapy Association, and past chair of FLOTEC (education consortium).

On a personal level I enjoy volunteer service, am an avid reader and crafter, and love Grandma life.
