Yvonne Randall

Yvonne Randall, EdD, OTR/L, FAOTA, is the Director of Adult Day Care and Rehabilitation Services at Nevada Senior Services. In this position her goal is to provide quality, evidence-based services for individuals with cognitive challenges and dementia focused on social, physical, and cognitive initiatives. Dr. Randall is also an instructor for TherapyEd, Inc. providing courses to prepare OT and OTA graduates for the national certification exam and an Education Consultant for OTu/Clinical Patterns providing quality apps for occupational therapy education programs. Dr. Randall was the founding Academic Fieldwork Coordinator (2005 – 2009) and was School Director (2009 – 2017) at Touro University Nevada (TUN). Her final appointment at TUN was as Associate Dean for the College of Health and Human Services. Dr. Randall has taught in occupational therapy, occupational therapy assistant, occupational science, educational leadership, and special education/early childhood education academic programs for over twenty-seven years. 

Dr. Randall is enthusiastic about her profession. She served as Chairperson of the American Occupational Therapy Political Action Committee (AOTPAC), Treasurer for the Society for the Study of Occupation (SSO: USA), Speaker of the AOTA Representative Assembly, member of the AOTA Board of Directors, and President of the Nevada Occupational Therapy Association. While several service honor awards have been earned, Dr. Randall received the Distinguished Alumna award (2019), the first occupational therapy graduate with this award at Texas Woman’s University. Dr. Randall also received the Lindy Boggs Award (2022) from the American Occupational Therapy Association for “Amplifying Federal Advocacy Initiatives for the OT Profession and in 2007 received her Fellow of the AOTA. 

Dr. Randall received her Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy from Texas Woman’s University, Master of Healthcare Administration from Chapman University, and Doctor of Education in Special Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
